For the first time a premiere of a Marathi film ‘Morrya’ was held in London’s Sohowala Cinema, Courthouse Hotel Cinema, recently, where Jitendra Barde who plays the title role of ‘Morrya’ received red carpet welcome. This grand premiere was organised by Maharashtrian community in U.K. and the tickets of this show were sold out as soon as the announcement was made.
This show was organised by Sachin Patil Cinema lover and Managing Director of Unique Air Express Couriers along with Kuldeep Shekhawat, Tushar Jogi, Santosh Parkar and Pravin Karuna. Writer- director and lead actor Jitendra Barde was the main attraction on this occasion. This film had invited attention of film lovers at different international film festivals and therefore these enthusiastic film lovers in London were keen to watch this film.
‘Morrya’ which is an emotion filled story of a Municipal sweeper and besides the lead character of Jitendra Barde this film also stars Umesh Jagtap, Sanjay Bhadane, Dhanashree Patil, Rahul Rokade, Suraj Ahivale, Rudram barde, Kunal Punekar, Shivaji Gaikwad, Deepak Jadhav Vijay Choudhary, Avinash Pol, Rupali Gayake, in lead roles.
